Terms of Service

The standard terms governing the use of the ProbationWatch platform.

These Terms govern use of ProbationWatch, a UK B2B SaaS platform for probation compliance workflows. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Scope

ProbationWatch provides workflow tooling, reminders, document generation, and tamper-evident ledger functions. It is software infrastructure for employers and managers.

2. No Legal Advice

ProbationWatch is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. You remain solely responsible for employment decisions and obtaining legal counsel where needed.

3. Accounts and Security

  • You must provide accurate account information.
  • You are responsible for activity under your credentials.
  • You must notify us promptly of security incidents.

4. Customer Data Responsibilities

You are responsible for ensuring lawful collection and use of employee data entered into the platform, including notices and lawful basis under UK GDPR.

5. Billing and Subscription

  • Paid plans are billed via Stripe on a recurring basis.
  • Plan features and pricing may change with reasonable prior notice.

6. Acceptable Use

You must not misuse the service, including unauthorised access attempts or use for unlawful discrimination.

7. Intellectual Property

The service, code, and design are owned by ProbationWatch. You receive a limited, non-exclusive right to use the platform during your subscription term.

8. Warranty Disclaimer

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by law.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ProbationWatch is not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

10. Cookies and Analytics

We use essential cookies for security and session management, and privacy-friendly Vercel Analytics for site measurement.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
